Hubert Kelley, age 94, of Reform, AL passed away March 28, 2022 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Shelton and Rev. Barry Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Kelley; daughter, Kathy Denise Kelley; grandson, Steve Kelley; his parents; brother, J. C. Kelley; sisters, Evelyn McAdams and Maudine Elmore; daughter-in-law, Joy Kelley and sons-in-law, Derrell Holley and David Burkhalter.
Survivors include his daughters, Shelby Holley and Patricia Burkhalter; sons, Herbert "Jerry" Kelley (Margaret) and Danny Kelley (Cathy); eight grandchildren, Leigh Ann Brand, Rena Cowart, Jennifer Quilliams, Michelle Griffin, Miranda Dailey, Jeremy Kelley, Joseph Dyer and Brook Burkhalter; twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Hubert was born May 30, 1927 in Reform, Alabama to the late Harvey Kelley and Parrie Stokes Kelley. He was a member of Arbor Springs Baptist Church, a retired employee of Alabama Power Company and a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II.                                          Pallbearers will be Logan Kelley, Jeremy Kelley, Joseph Dyer, Jason Cowart, Lamar Brand, Ricky Reece, T.J. Duckworth and Scott Shirley.
Honorary Pallbearers are members of Arbor Springs Baptist Church, Amedisys Hospice, all Western Division of Alabama Power Company employees and retirees and staff of Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.
