COLUMBUS, MISS | Hugh Warren Owens, age 69, of Columbus, Miss., died December 16, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital GT. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Dogwood Chapel with Bro. Robert Gillis officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th St. NE in Aliceville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Donna Smith Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Mary ""Pat"" Owens of Columbus, Miss.; daughters, Paige Owens Perrigin (Richard) and Angie Howard; son, Allen Smith (Sandra); brother, Wayne Owens (Joan); seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Hugh was born July 18, 1946 in New London, Connecticut to the late Norris William Owens and Iris Juanita Johns Owens. He was a member of State Line Baptist Church, a retired district sales manager for Gulf States Manufacturing and a veteran of the United States National Guard with 26 years of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to any WAB&T branch in his name.
