GORDO Icie Bell Pearson, age 76, of Gordo Ala., died November 15, 2013 at her daughter's residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2013 at Sardis Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Roger Lucas and Bro. Ron Wilson officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Burial will be at Hannah United Methodist Church Cemetery following services. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Skelton Funeral Home. Body will lie in state one hour prior to services.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Pearson; her son, Jason Pearson; and her parents.She is survived by her daughters, Ninea Parker (Bobby) of Gordo, Ala., Lisa Hall (Norman) of Gordo, Ala., and Jessica Howard (Ceith) of Gordo, Ala.; her son, Newman Hall (Mickie) of Gordo, Ala.; Her sister, Annie Mae Redd of Coker, Ala.; her brothers, James Robertson of Gordo, Ala., and Archie Robertson of Coker, Ala.; her grandchildren, Hayes Hicks, Hannah Hawthorne (David), Laura Williamson (Terence), Jody Howard (Brook), Casey Hall, Jamey Hall, Cole Howard, and Kaley Hall; her great grandchildren, Edy Hicks, Sofia Hicks, Tristen Williamson, and Levi Howard; and a number of nieces and nephews. Icie Bell Pearson was born June 16, 1937 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Pervie Orgae Robertson and Dessie Mae Driver Robertson. She was a homemaker, member of Sardis Free Will Baptist church, and a life long resident of Pickens County, Alabama.Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandsons-in-law, Hayes Hicks, Casey Hall, Jamey Hall, Cole Howard, David Hawthorne, Terence Williamson, and Gerald Hicks.Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Hospice of West Alabama: Ron Wilson, Lisa Camp, Nancy Jemison, and Allison Brewer; Charlie and LaQuita Hall, Betty Robertson, Members of Sardis Free Will Baptist Church and Friends of the Zion and Fairview communities.
