CARROLLTON | Iris Leigh Colvin, age 70, of Carrollton, died February 1, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Memorial Services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform is directing.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her brothers, Ronnie Colvin (Jennifer) of Tuscaloosa and Ira "Bennie" Colvin of Carrollton; and nieces and nephews, Julie, Rebecca, Chad, Flossie and Ira.
Iris was born April 17, 1943 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Ira Colvin and Lois Atkins Colvin Robison. She was a member of Carrollton United Methodist Church, a former employee of Bryce Hospital and DHR and a well known resident of Pickens County.
