Jack David House, age 85, of Reform, AL passed away August 26, 2024 at Arbor Woods Health & Rehab.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Shelton, Deacon Danny Gray and Bro. Melvin Mordecai officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Lee House; his parents and brother, Thomas Edward House.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Gloria Jean Nickoles House; grandson, Ross Tillman House and wife, Brooklyn; granddaughter, Christina House Miller and husband, James; daughter-in-law, Angela Adkins House; five great-grandchildren, Jackson, Janey, Jude, Eli and Dax; special first cousin (like a sister), Nellie Fields and his sidekick, Baby Girl, his dog.
Rev. Jack was born November 30, 1938 in Reform, Alabama to the late Jack V. House and Edna Mae Gobar House.  He was a member of Arbor Springs Baptist Church and a Pastor at many churches for 49 years, from October 1974 - June 2023.  Jack was a veteran of the Alabama Army National Guard and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.
Honorary Pallbearers are deacons and members of all the churches Jack has pastored, Joe Brown, preachers of the Pickens Association Prayer Breakfast, Bro. Lyle Dease, Missions Director PBA, Ken Simpson, Jack and Tammy Pruett, Jeremy and Annette Greene, Frances and Danny Duncan, Dr. Phil Hemstreet, Dr. Scott Fulgham, attorney, Scott Smith, Trey and Cindy Pruett and Elizabeth Posey.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Gideons International, Pickens County Camp, P.O. Box 287, Carrollton, AL 35447.
