Jackie Flynn Jewell, age 75, of Columbus, MS died April 10, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.  Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Forest Methodist Church Cemetery in Ethelsville with Bro. Michael Flynn officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will follow the service at Ethelsville First Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Johnny Jewell and Joshua K. Jewell; sisters, Jacqueline Flynn, Daree Hughes, Barbara Gilley, Genevieve Whitten and Louise Edmonds and brothers, Wayne Flynn, Freddie Flynn, Earl Flynn, Johnny Flynn and Jimmie Flynn.
Survivors include her sons, Jason Jewell and Mark Jewell; sister, Nelda Spruill; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jewell, Taylor Jewell (Shane), Danica Jewell, Mark Jewell and Bailey Jewell; step-granddaughter, Maddelyn Washington (Herachio); step-grandson, Rowan Wilcox (Bailey Weaver) and great-grandson, Grayson Jett Wilcox.
Jackie was born October 28, 1949 in Hamilton, Mississippi to the late Claude Flynn and Rebie Smithson Flynn.  She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Ethelsville and a retired seamstress for Ruth's Department Store.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Fields, Mark Saunders, Dave Saunders, Cody Saunders, Shane Boureaux and Eugene Hughes.
