James Thomas Prestridge, age 69, of Carrollton, AL died December 30, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Columbus, MS. A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 pm Monday, January 7, 2019 at Skelton Funeral Home of Reform.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Elmer Prestridge, Jr . and Verdell Prestridge and three sisters, Adell Prestridge, Joyce Prestridge Horn and Janice Prestridge Smith. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ming Prestridge; his son, James Michael Prestridge; his daughter, Crystal Prestridge Oversen; four stepdaughters, Dana Elmore, Cynthia White, Kimberly Warren and Margaret Mosley; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
James was born July 20, 1949 in Slaughter, Mississippi to the late Elmer Leslie Prestridge, Sr. and Nelda Faye Powell Prestridge. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church, a retired employee of Ruan Trucking and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
