MILLPORT | James Chandler Rich Sr., age 82, of Millport, died June 5, 2015, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2015, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lindsey Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be tonight, June 7, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, E.A. "Bud" Truett.Survivors include his daughters, Barbara Lynn Truett and Vicki Rena Hallman (Billy); sons, James Chandler Rich Jr. (Tracy) and Jason Christopher Rich (Allison); grandchildren, Brian Scott Fields (Tracy), Justin Lee Hallman, Brittany Woodruff, and Kala Woodruff; and four great-grandchildren, Blane Scott Fields, Lane Fields, Brody Christopher Holloway, and Charley Brooke Holloway. Mr. Rich was born April 30, 1933, in New York, to the late Lawrence A. Rich and Mildred McKee Rich. James was a member of Kennedy Masonic Lodge and was retired from I.B.E.W. Local 917 as an electrician.Pallbearers will be Buster McKee, Gary Freeman, Kenneth Crimm, and Brian Fields.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of West Alabama 3851 Loop Rd., Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
