REFORM | James Lawrence Richardson, age 77, of Reform, died November 10, 2014, at Arbor Woods Nursing Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marshal Sutton and Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Grove Methodist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight, Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Richardson. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Blakney Richardson; daughter, Lori Owen (Mike); sons, Mike Richardson (Jennifer), Kerry Richardson (Renee), Robby Richardson (Patti), Chris Ferguson (Debbie) and Chad Ferguson (Rhonda); brother, Sherrill Richardson (Dot); 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Richardson was born December 19, 1936 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late William Taft Richardson and Avis Sherrill Richardson. He was a member of Ashcraft Corner Baptist Church, a retired employee of Weyerhaeuser, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.
