Martha Jane Clemmons, 68, of Pelahatchie, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Merit Health River Oaks Hospital, Flowood, MS.   A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Forest United Methodist Church in Ethelsville, Alabama. The service will begin at 11:00 AM.  Jane's ashes will be laid to rest afterward at Forest Cemetery.  Forest United Methodist Church Pastor Rubi Weems will be leading the service.
Jane was born June 5, 1956, in Columbus, MS, the youngest child and daughter to the late Virgil W. Clemmons Sr. and Minnie Beatrice Stewart Clemmons. She graduated from Central High School in Jackson, Mississippi in 1974 and attended Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS.  Jane enjoyed a lengthy career in sales in the corrugated packing industry during which time she established many enduring friendships with coworkers and clients.  Prior to her main career, Jane lived and worked in telecommunications and retail sales in Holbrook, Arizona, for a few years.
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by brothers, Virgil Washington Clemmons, Jr. (Sonny), Dr. Robert Walter (Bob) Clemmons, Lawrence Oliver (Larry) Clemmons, and sister, Beverly Beatrice Clemmons.
Survivors include her brothers, James Brooks (Jimmy) Clemmons, Sr. and wife, Jane, Thomas Wayne (Tommy) Clemmons and wife, Barbara, Charles Rickman (Ricky) Clemmons and wife, Rita and James Glenn Clemmons and wife, Mary Ann; many nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.
