Jane Cockrell, age 77, of Aliceville, AL died August 1, 2025 at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, August 8, 2025 at Dogwood Chapel with Rev. Charlie Wilson officiating.  A private family burial will be in Magnolia Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th Street NE in Aliceville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Maurice Cockrell and Leonard Cockrell and sister, Marilyn Cockrell.
Survivors include her sister, Elaine Moseley of Aliceville; brother, Jerry Cockrell (Jeanne) of Aliceville; sisters-in-law, Gloria Cockrell and Mary Cockrell, both of Aliceville; nieces and nephews, Mitch Cockrell (Rhonda), Missy Steele (Gary), Deby Little (Tom), Machelle Shields (Britt) and Kip Cockrell (Kimberly); great-nieces and nephews, Clint Cockrell (Victoria), Matthew Steele (Katie), Tess Driver (Austyn), Anna Cockrell, Drake Shields (Maddie), Brittney Jenkins (Micheal), Collyns Cockrell and Cassidy Cockrell; great-great nieces and nephews, Carson Ace Driver, Lillee Jo Driver, Bodhi Lane Shields, Brayli Mae Shields and Lainey Jane Jenkins.
Jane was born September 2, 1947 in Aliceville, Alabama to the late Alex Clinton Cockrell and Gladys Butler Cockrell.  She was a member of Aliceville First United Methodist Church and a devoted employee of Cockrell's Dari Dream for 36 years.  Later, Jane was employed by Mike's Drugs and Piggly Wiggly.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Cockrell, Gary Steele, Britt Shields, Kip Cockrell, Clint Cockrell, Matthew Steele, Drake Shields, Tom Little, Austyn Driver, Micheal Jenkins, Andy Hamlin, Will Hamlin and Mike Farmer.
Honorary Pallbearers are Aliceville High School Class of 1966 and special friends Mary Cleveland, Sharon Hamlin and Anne Hamlin Hall.             The family would like to say a special thank you to all of Jane's caregivers and to the staff of Skelton Funeral Home.
