ALICEVILLE | Jane Windle Young, age 85, of Aliceville, died May 26, 2015, at Pickens County Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Unity Cemetery, with Rev. Tim Alexander officiating, and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform, directing.Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, William Phelps Young, Sr.; parents; and sister, Ann Childs.Survivors include her son, William Phelps Young, Jr. and wife, JoAnne R. Young, of Aliceville; daughter, Melanie Y. Redd and husband, Jeff Redd, of Springfield, Ore.; sister, Bobbie Lambert (Don), of Huntsville; brother, Hugh Windle (Lana), of Millport; five grandchildren, William Phelps Young III (Leigh), Claude Houston Young, Keith Gray, Hunter Gray (Jeanne) and Morgan Gray; three great-grandchildren, Jane, Phelps and Ann Houston; and nieces and nephews, Tracy Windle, John Windle, Donald Lambert (Rosemary), Jacob Childs and Louvene Williams (Kevin).Mrs. Young was born January 28, 1930, in Pickens County, Alabama, to the late Houston Windle and Lillian Hudgins Windle.
