Janet Marie Johnson, age 63, died November 01, 2018 at home. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm
Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Finney and Rev. Hunter Fields
officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately
following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Caulley and her sister, Bev Taylor.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, James H. "Jay" Johnson, Jr.; her stepson, Wesley Johnson;
her stepdaughter, Jade Johnson and four step-grandchildren, Elizabeth, J. R., Austin and Caroline Barger, all
of Gordo; her father, Ralph S. Caulley; two sisters, Sharon Cross and Kay Craig; one brother, John Caulley;
her niece, Jessi Taylor, all of Ohio and a number of other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Janet was born December 8, 1954 in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was a 1972 graduate of Lakewood High School
in Hebron, Ohio. Janet was retired from the VA Medical Center, a longtime resident of Pickens County and a member
of First Freewill Baptist Church. She was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam-era.
