Janis Audrey Howey, age 71, of Gordo, AL passed away August 29, 2022 at her residence. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday, September 2, 2022 at Big Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Chris Washington officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Howey, Jr. and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Audrey Howey Motorna (Gregory); brother, Bruce Hunter (Christy) and her grandchildren, Jordan and Breanna Henry, Zachary Motorna, Xander Motorna and Ian Motorna.
Janis was born March 14, 1951 in Woodbury, New Jersey to the late Harold E. Hunter and Marea Buffum Hunter. She was a member of Big Hill Baptist Church and a retired secretary for Mione Manufacturing.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Henry, Ian Motorna, Xander Motorna, Austin Ritts, Braden Clark and Gregory Motorna.
Honorary Pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama employees.
