Lear Jean Acker, age 54, of Gordo, AL passed away November 28, 2022 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday December 1, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marshall Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lear Mae Acker; grandparents, James Walter and Anna Mae Acker and two uncles, John Clayburn Acker and William Lynn Acker.
Survivors include two brothers, Joe Acker and Roy Acker; uncles, Thomas Earl Acker, Henry Larry Acker and David Lee Acker (Nell) and numerous cousins.
Jean was born June 24, 1968 in Gordo, Alabama. She was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.
