ETHELSVILLE - Jennelle Cummings, age 78 of Ethelsville, Ala., died May 8, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Aliceville First Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Wilson officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Annette Linder.Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jerry Cummings of Ethelsville, Ala.; daughter, Melanie Dill (Paul) of Ethelsville, Ala.; son, Kevin Cummings (Mary Beth) of Ethelsville, Ala.; brother, Larry Gilliam (Ann) of Carrollton, Ala.; three grandchildren, Amanda McKinnie (Adam), Brandon Dill (Mary) and Mary Rose Cummings; and three great-grandchildren, Addison McKinnie, Maxwell Dill and Savannah Dill.Jennelle was born June 15, 1938 in Aliceville, Alabama to the late Willie Walker Gilliam and Cora Mae Fortenberry Gilliam. She was a member of Aliceville First Baptist Church where she was very active with the Cookie Ministry. She was a retired secretary for the Pickens County Engineers with 40 years of service and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Aliceville First Baptist Church Cookie Ministry, 323 Broad St., Aliceville, AL 35442 or to Palmer Home for Children, P.O.
