Jerry Ray Harris, age 73, of Gordo, AL passed away January 21, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel in Reform with Rev. Leon White officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Flavious J. Harris and his grandparents.
Survivors include his daughter, Andrea Harris Duffy; his mother, Bessie Harris; brother, Phillip Harris (Sandra); two sisters, Derendell Turner (Robert) and Debbie Latham; one granddaughter, Ava Caroline Duffy; a host of nieces, nephews; many aunts and uncles and his special beloved dog, Levi.
Jerry was born February 9, 1949 in Gordo, Alabama. He was a graduate of Gordo High School and Shelton State and he retired from Alabama Power Company as a lineman with 40 years of service.
Honorary Pallbearers are Marlin and Sylvia Homan T. J. Jones, Tommy and Carolyn White, Jimbo Sanders, Dr. Mohammad Azam and staff, TSICU nurses of DCH and former Alabama Power Company co-workers.
