Jimmy Lee Beck, age 75, of Buhl, AL died September 7, 2026 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Magnolia Chapel North in Northport, AL with Pastor Dennis Avery officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Buhl with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at Magnolia Chapel North. There will be no graveside services.

He was preceded in death by his son, Marty Beck; grandson, Wesley Ledbetter; his parents; three brother, Billie Beck, Frank Joseph Beck and Donnie Beck and three sisters, Minnie Jacobs Goodman, Annie Strickland and Geraldine Sellers.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Rita Beck; his daughters, Audra Griffin and Gina Mize (Jason); brother-in-law, Travis Robertson; sisters-in-law, Sharon Beck and DeWanda Beck; grandchildren, Chris Ledbetter (Kaylyn) and Arron Ledbetter (Cristal); six great-grandchildren, Hannah, Sawyer, Maci, Nova, Harleigh and Noah and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jimmy was born November 11, 1950 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama to the late Levert Beck and Novies Marcum Beck. He was a member of Victorius Life Church in Fosters, AL.

Pallbearers will be Arron Ledbetter, Chris Ledbetter, Johnny Griffin, Jason Mize, Richard Jacobs, Nick Strickland, Drew Strickland and Danny Beck.

The family would like to recognize the doctors, nurses and staff of the DCH Health Systems, Spine Care staff, Northport Primary Care, owners and staff of The Home Accents stores, the Victorius Life Church family and all of his friends, too many to name, and his neighbors.
