Jimmy Dale "Goose" Hildreth, age 74, of Eutaw, AL passed away May 31, 2021 at Greene County Hospital in Eutaw. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, James Coyte and Iley Franciso Coleman Hildreth and Homer and Beulah Tomlin Newell.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Howard Hildreth; sons, Chris Hildreth (Kristy) and Kevin Hildreth (Jennifer); four grandchildren, Kati Grace Hildreth, Kason Dale Hildreth, Abby Williams and Max Williams; brothers, James Dewight "Butch" Hildreth (Becky), Wayne Hildreth, John Hildreth (Wanda), David Hildreth (Betty) and Richard Hildreth and sisters, Donna Kaye Bevins (Doug) and Missy Gilliam (Todd).
Jimmy was born January 8, 1947 in Kennedy, Alabama to the late J. C. Hildreth and Frances Lurlene Newell Hildreth. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army and a retired employee of B. F. Goodrich in Tuscaloosa.
Pallbearers will be Butch Hildreth, Wayne Hildreth, David Hildreth, Richard Hildreth, Rob Finley and Chad Boyd.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Two Rivers community, B. F. Goodrich and Kennedy High School Class of 1967.
