Jimmy Ray Sanders, age 71, of Gordo, AL passed away December 8, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, December 11, 2020 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Crowley officiating.  Burial will follow in Gordo City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry A. Sanders and niece, Savana Sanders.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Ann Sanders; two daughters, Leisa Cook (James) and Stacey Thomas; mother, Reoma Etta Sanders; brother, Louis Sanders (Frances); nine grandchildren, Keith Huffman (Kim), Hannah Huffman, Ashlyn Thomas, Hayden Huffman, Ryder McDaniel, Kaleb Huffman, Kason Huffman, Brittany Cook and Madison Cook and his nieces and nephews, Billy Sanders, Kayla Sanders, Josh Sanders, Danny Sanders and Amanda Brisno.
Jimmy was born May 19, 1949 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He as a member of Kennie Hill Church and a retired inspector for Z F Industries.
Pallbearers will be Hardin Thomas, Billy Sanders, Mike Huffman, Austin, James Cook, Tim Bitler and Tim Sutton.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Kennie Hill Church, 3 Kennie Hill Road, Gordo, AL 35466.
