Jo Ann Davis, age 88, of Aliceville, AL passed away January 31, 2023 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, February 3, 2023 at Dogwood Chapel with Rev. Gene Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine United Methodist Church Cemetery in Montpelier, MS with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th Street NE in Aliceville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Calvin Davis; her parents; brother, Larry White (Reba) and sister, Sybil Dendy (Pete).
Survivors include her niece, Jan Robertson (Todd) of West Point, MS; two nephews, Charlie White (Kim) of Cedar Bluff, MS and Keith Thompson (Bonnie) of Montpelier, MS; special cousin, Celia Fisher (Harvey) of Okolona, MS, a host of other cousins and great-nieces and nephews and special friends, Marilyn McBride and Amanda Crowell.
Jo Ann was born March 27, 1934 in Montpelier, Mississippi to the late Gilbert White and Ida Mae Coleman White. She was a member of Aliceville United Methodist Church and retired from the banking business in West Point, MS and West Alabama Bank & Trust in Aliceville, AL.
