Jo Lee was a Christian first and foremost. She loved Jesus more than anything. She was a loving and devoted wife and the BEST mother to her children. She always put her faith first and was a prayer warrior. She and Harold's home was always open for Bible studies and prayer groups. And when her children had friends over, they became part of the family, participating in Bible study and family prayer. Jo Lee enjoyed leading devotion and singing every Wednesday morning at Reform Nursing Home. She was a member of the Gideon Auxiliary, and Hargrove Methodist Church. Jo Lee was a model citizen and gave back to her beloved Gordo community. Jo Lee and Harold owned and operated Southside Cleaners. Jo Lee was also a Mary Kay consultant. She loved taking care of her family and her flower garden. But above all, she loved her Lord and her family. Unconditional, unlimited and unashamed.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Matthew Jones and Chandler Gann; great-grandson, Turner Jones; grandsons-in-law, Josh Brown and Cody Rush and nephews, Derek Duffy and William Vogelgesang. Her late grandson, Adam Jones, will be remembered and honored as a posthumous Pallbearer.
The family is very grateful for the relationships Jo Lee shared with Patricia Driver, Dianna Burkhalter, Susan Lancaster, and Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Smith.
Jo Lee's words to each of you would be, 'God loves you and I love you!'
