JoAnn Conklan, age 74, of Kennedy, AL passed away December 1, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, December 4, 2023 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kelly Jolly officiating.  Burial will be in Kennedy City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James William Sutton and sister-in-law, Linda Johnson Sutton.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin L. Conklan; daughters, Angie Hicks, Teresa Segreast and Kelli Lollar (Corey); brother, Bob Sutton (Charlene); sisters, Shirley Sutton, Mae Bell Hannah (Thomas) and Susie McDaniel (Chip); six grandchildren, Blake Hicks (Billie Jo), Kacie Leonard, Ashley Singh (Jasper), Marissa Lollar, Evan Lollar and Ryland Lollar; two great-grandchildren, Kyndal Wilkerson and Priya Harton and a number of nieces and nephews.
JoAnn was born April 14, 1949 in Gordo, Alabama to the late James Capron Sutton and Lillian Gertrude Posey Sutton.  She was a member of Kennie Hill Church and their pianist for 61 years and a retired receptionist for  Dr. John Brandon's office.
Honorary Pallbearers are members of Kennie Hill Church.
