Barbara JoAnn Wilson Lavender, age 46, of Northport, AL passed away October 28, 2020 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday November 2, 2020 at Dogwood Chapel with Rev. David Blakney officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be immediately following the service at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th Street NE in Aliceville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Crawford Wilson and her grandparents.
Survivors include her father, Joe Freeman Wilson of Aliceville, AL; ex-husband, Drake Lavender of Coker, AL; her daughters, Ashley JoAnn Pearson of Coker, AL and Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Lavender of Coker, AL; son, Lane Morris Pearson of Northport, AL; sister, Sandy Wilson Long of Aliceville, AL; uncle, Raymond Crawford and nephews, Dillon Long (Siyu), Dusty Long and Drew Long.
JoAnn was born May 22, 1974 in Macon, Mississippi. She was employed as an LPN and had worked in Carrollton and Aliceville with Dr. Blaine Shilling and Dr. David Tuten. She was a member of West End Baptist Church. JoAnn was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed by all.
