REFORM | Joe Earl Adams, age 77, of Reform, died July 15, 2015, at home. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Wayne Adams, Jr. officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, J. J. Adams; and daughter-in-law, Robin Adams.
Survivors include his son, Joseph Edward Adams (Ashleigh); sister, Patricia Adams Price (Bill); brother, Bobby W. Adams (Dorothy); grandchildren, Ashley Rose Adams, Taylor Elizabeth Adams, Hunter Blake Adams, Molleigh Rebecca Adams and Jamison Hurt; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Joe was born February 21, 1938 in Columbus, Miss. to the late Earl W. and Annie M. Adams. He was a member of Reform First Baptist Church where he joined when he was 13 years old.
Joe was a graduate of Carrollton High School and Shelton State Community College, a veteran of the United States Navy and former owner of Adams TV and Repair. He was a former water patrolman and an employee of the City of Tuscaloosa engineering department.
