Joe Freeman Wilson, age 77, of Aliceville, AL passed away November 20, 2020 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Private memorial services will be held.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Ann Crawford Wilson; daughter, JoAnn Wilson Lavender; his parents; brothers, William Henry Wilson, Earnest Newell Wilson and Frank Henry Wilson and sisters, Mary Nell Wilson and Louise Wilson Parham.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandy Wilson Long; three brothers, Charles Wilson (Marie), Willie Wilson (Pat) and Jerry Wilson (Holly); two sisters, Evelyn Thomas (Kenny) and Dorothy Tarlton (John) and six grandchildren, Dillon Long (Siyu), Lane Pearson, Ashley Pearson, Dusty Long, Drew Long and Beth Lavender.
Joe was born January 25, 1943 in Greene County, Alabama to the late Henry Johnson Wilson and Mary Volene Miller Wilson. He was a member of West End Baptist Church, a retired self employed heavy equipment operator and a veteran of the U. S. National Guard.
