John Clayburn Acker, age 80, of Gordo, AL passed away November 20, 2022 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. The family will hold private services at a later date.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Lera Mae Acker and brother, William Lynn Acker.
Survivors include his three brothers, Thomas Earl Acker, Henry Larry Acker and David Lee Acker (Nell) and seven nieces and nephews.
John was born November 11, 1942 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late James Walter Acker and Anna Mae Bearden Acker. He was a retired logger and saw miller.
