John Joseph Baranowski, age 71, of Tuscaloosa, AL passed away March 6, 2020 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Memorial Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 13, 2020 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Kennedy officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be immediately following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Lancaster Baranowski; two daughters, Tina Hernandez and Kristin Baranowski; two sons, Larry Baranowski (Kim) and Rodney Baranowski; three sisters, Margaret Sherman (Gil), Denise Leuschel and Anne Estes (David) and seven grandchildren, Gina Hernandez, Hana Hernandez, Emma Hernandez, Kala Hernandez, Colton Baranowski, Zachary Baranowski and Tristan Ingi Baranowski.
John was born May 28, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Dr. Joseph A. Baranowski and Mamie Kimbrell Baranowski. He was a member of the Catholic faith, a retired manager in the communications industry and a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
