John Wayne Pippen, age 77, of Carrollton, AL died May 9, 2026 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Bethel Cemetery in the Stansel community with Rev. Bobby Boothe officiating. A brief visitation will follow the service at the graveside.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Franklin Pippen; mother,, Ruby Simpson Pippen Ryan; stepfather, Raleigh Ryan and his brother, Warren Pippen.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Stuckey; daughters, Haley Pippen and Cristina Jahn; son, Luther Pippen; brother, Morgan Pippen (Kathy); sisters, Gayle Pippen Piret and Mary Ann Pippen and six grandchildren, Mason Pippen, Levi Pippen, John Tanner Pippen, Ruby Pippen, Mirissa Winburn and Miranda Hamilton.

Wayne was born August 27, 1948 in Flint, Michigan. He was a retired counselor for the Veterans Administration and attended Carrollton First United Methodist Church. Wayne was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
