Johnnie Mae Lee, age 89, of Gordo, AL died Friday, February 19, 2021 at Northport Medical Center. A private family service will be held at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lenwood Gilliland officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee; daughters, Judy Lee, Sheila Lunceford, and Sharon Lee; sons, Terry Lee and Dwight Lee; step son, Olen Lee; and her parents.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry Lee, Glen Lee, and Larry Lee; daughters, Kathy Price and Joan Junkin; sixteen grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
Johnnie Mae was born January 14, 1932 in Pickens County, AL to the late John and Pearl Maroney Whitley. She was a member of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
