Joseph Marlowe, age 75, of Gordo, Al passed away November 14, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Dunns Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church.                                                                            He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Marlowe; daughter, Cindy Kyles (Rodney); sons, Joey Marlowe, Rodney Marlowe, Ricky Marlowe (Judy), Steven Marlowe and Nathan Marlowe; brother, J. L. Marlowe (Faye); eight grandchildren, Rebecca Marlowe, Joshua Marlowe, Ridge Marlowe, Patrick Marlowe, Michael Marlowe, Angel Marlowe, Brittney Hudson (Mitch) and Chelsia McCafferty and six great-grandchildren, Gage, Carson, Katelyn, Jasper, Addyln and Amelia.
Joseph was born March 6, 1946 in Reform, Alabama to the late Cleveland Marlowe and Florence Mae Boothe Marlowe. He was a member of the Baptist faith, a former employee of Peco and a retired logger.
Pallbearers will be Doug Noland, Rodney Kyles, Josh Marlowe and Nathan Marlowe.
Honorary Pallbearers are Odie McCrackin, staff and nurses of ICU floor at DCH Regional Medical Center and employees of Carquest of Reform.
