Joseph Lester Pate, Sr., age 66, of Pickensville, AL died June 9, 2026 at his residence. No services will be held.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James and John and sisters, Hazel and Donna.

Survivors include his son Joseph L. “Joey” Pate, Jr.; sister, Mary Bowen and a number of nieces and nephews.

Joseph was born October 22, 1959 in Aliceville, Alabama to the late James Luther Pate, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Hood Pate. He was a retired carpenter.
