Joshua Blake Homan, age 38, of Gordo, AL passed away November 6, 2022 at Northport Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Homan and grandparents, John and Nedra Homan and Hilton Reece.
Survivors include his mother, Pam Homan; big brother, Justin Homan (Rachel); little sister, Amber Homan; grandmother, Doris Nell Reece; bonus family of the late Allen "Pop" McCrary and nieces and nephews, John Curtis, Lillie, Natilynn, Jessie, Cullen, Delaine, Susan and Brandon.
Joshua was born August 4, 1984 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Gordo.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Homan, Nathan Reece, Brandon Reece, Ricky Reece, Nick Tolstick and Brian McCrary.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. John Brandon, Dr. Atruro Otero, Dr. Dale Robbins, Zion Fire Department & Rescue, Brook Elliott with S.A.I.L. Wavier and Adam with York Drug Store.
