Norma June Boling Helm, age 87, of Northport, AL passed away September 18, 2022 at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Northport.  Memorial graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday, August 4, 2023 at Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Chris McCool officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lee Boling and Lula Mae Sullivan Boling; infant sister, Alice Joy Boling and her grandparents, William and Norma I. Skelton Sullivan of Pickens County, Alabama and Thomas and Annie Smithey Boling of Blount County, Tennessee.
June was survived by her sons, Michael Helm and wife, Jackie of Illinois and Geoffrey Helm and wife, Kathie of Minnesota; brother, William H. "Bill" Boling of Mobile, AL; three grandsons, Ian, Ethan and Sam Helm; granddaughter, Ava Helm and two step-grandchildren, Corrine and D.J. Fournier.
June was born January 30, 1935 in Aliceville, Alabama and graduated from Aliceville High School, Class of 1952.  She earned college credits wherever she went; Korea, Japan and Wiesbaden, Germany with the American Red Cross and also in Minneapolis, MN, earning her business degree.  June retired from Honeywell, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN.  An avid genealogist, June worked for many years on the Maternal Sullivan and Paternal Boling genealogy.
