Our beloved mother, Mary June Johnson Windham Pinion, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 13, 2025.  A woman of deep faith, endless love, and gentle strength, she filled our lives with grace, laughter and kindness. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Hargrove Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Hall and Rev. Tim Tindle officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry R. Windham; second husband, Rev. Brannon S. Pinion; her daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Brown; her parents and brother, Clarence Johnson.
Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda W. Cowart (Bobby) of Gordo and Robin W. Lancaster (Dale) of Gordo stepdaughter, Valerie P. Smith; stepson, Wayne Pinion; son-in-law, Walter E. Brown (Sharon) of Gordo; sister, Frances Smith of Fayette; brother, Ray Johnson (Lorene) of Northport; five grandchildren, Jason Cowart (Rena), Kari C. Hudson (Seth), Clinton Brown (Abby), John Lancaster (Morgan) and Reid Lancaster (Sarah) and eleven great-grandchildren, Jacob, Celie, Meredith, Ann Carsyn, Allie, Colter, Weston, Sawyer, Leah, Judson and Mila.
June was born June 2, 1935 in Belk, Alabama to the late James Lester Johnson and Allie Lois Moore Johnson.  She was member of Moores Bridge Baptist Church and a retired real estate closing agent for Security Bank in Tuscaloosa.
Her grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
