Kannie Mae Woolbright, age 87, of Gordo, AL died June 29, 2025 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Double Branch Independent Baptist Church with Bro. John Williams and Bro. Mike Hall officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Jerry Woolbright and Darrell Glenn Woolbright and her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Freddie Wayman Woolbright of Gordo; daughter-in-law, Cira Lopez Woolbright of Gordo; sister, Peggy Burton (Barry) of Birmingham and brother, Mike Hall (Davene) of Reform.
Kannie Mae was born December 10, 1937 in the Friendship community of Pickens County, Alabama to the late Elridge Carpenter and Nora McDaniel Carpenter.  She was a member of Double Branch Independent Baptist Church and a retired substitute schoolteacher in Gordo.
