Kathryn Dubose Ray, age 73, of Ethelsville, AL died September 20, 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Carrollton with Bro. Joe Fondren officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at the church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Evans; her parents; her sister, Martha Dubose and her brother, Foster Dubose.

Survivors include her husband, Jackie M. Ray; her daughter, Jennifer Williams; two stepdaughters, Pamela R. Brasher and Tonya R. Wilkins (Jason); sister, Pat Oglesby (Leon); brother, Terry Dubose (Debbie); two grandchildren, Jessie Reeves (Caleb) and McKenna Johnson; three step-grandchildren, Jennifer Madison (Matthew), Tyler Wilkins (Tori) and Ethan Wilkins (Randi); eleven great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Kathryn was born October 6, 1952 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late F. E. Dubose, Jr. and Willa Hankins Dubose. She was a homemaker and a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Jason Wilkins, Tyler Wilkins, Matthew Madison, Chad Jaggers, Byron Burgess and Caleb Reeves.

Honorary Pallbearer is John Luke Walker.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa AL 35404.
