Kathy Lois Martin Best, age 71, of Gordo, AL passed away October 9, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Hargrove United Methodist Church with Rev. Alisha Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Lee Martin.
Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Best and her son, Michael Best.
Kathy was born March 15, 1951 in Gordo, Alabama to the late Albert V. Martin and Nellie Grace Duckworth Martin. She was a member of Hargrove United Methodist Church and a retired schoolteacher.
