Kathy Jo Rush, age 56, of Reform, AL died May 21, 2025 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; aunts, Opal F. Gay and Ruby Williams and uncles, Eugene McCool and Johnny McCool.
Survivors include her husband, Barry Irby; daughters, Brandy Nicole Rush and Nina Walis (Jerry); sons, D. J. Rush (Mesha) and Coty Irby; six grandchildren, Sapphire, Braleigh, Logan, Levi, Damon and Liam; aunt, Jewel Gay McCool; uncles, James B. McCool and Rayford J. McCool; ex-husband and friend, David J. Rush and family friends, Deion and Ericka Lark.
Kathy was born February 28, 1969 in Reform, Alabama to the late Bobby Joe Miller and Nellie Ruth McCool Miller.
Pallbearers will be D. J. Rush, Nick Rush, Coty Irby, Corey Cochran, Deion Lark and Bobby Irby.
Honorary Pallbearers are Shonquex Thomas, Cameron Rush, John Kyler Rush, Chris Lions, Daniel Pearman and Glenn Campbell,
