Katherine "Katie" Goodwin, age 35, of Reform, AL passed away April 10, 2021 at her residence. A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Shelton officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lee Goodwin; her dad's mother, Laverne Goodwin and her mother's parents, J. T. and Marguerite Simpson.
Survivors include her mother, Pat Simpson Morris (John); daughter, Audrey Canterberry; the father of her daughter, Jeremy Canterberry; sister, Ginger Goodwin; stepsister, Breanna Stephens; stepbrother, James Morris; aunts and uncles, Wanda Cook, Paul Simpson (Rita), Donna Shelton (Larry), Joan Nejezchleb (Al) and Tom Goodwin; her special "Granny" Martha Shelton; special cousin, Kristin McDaniel and her sweet dog, Lola.
Katie was born March 19, 1986 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was a 2005 graduate of Pickens County High School, a member of Arbor Springs Baptist Church and a loyal caregiver to her beloved mother.
Honorary Pallbearers are Kendall Shelton, Matt White, Shane McDaniel, Carl Smith, Jr. and John Cook.
Since her mother, Pat will be unable to attend, she asks that her family and friends come to her home and visit with her there.                                  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the savings account for Audrey's College Fund at West Alabama Bank in Reform.
