Kim Crowell Thompson
GORDO – Kim Crowell Thompson, age 47, of Gordo, Ala., died on September 9, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shawn McDaniel and Rev. Mike Perrigin officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. tonight, September 12, 2017, at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rodger Dell Crowell; grandparents, J.E. Kelley, Leon Crowell, Clara Mae and Lee Virney Trull; and niece, Faith Crowell.
She is survived by her husband, Randall Thompson; daughter, Kelsey Thompson (Mason); son, Torey Thompson (Morgan); parents, Jewel and Jimmy Pritchett; sister, Sherry Crowell-Washington; brothers, Tim Crowell (Robin) and Jerry Ray Crowell (Diane); Grandmother, Jessie Lee Kelley; stepbrothers, Richard Pritchett (Pam) and Anthony Pritchett (Jackie); stepsister, Missy Pritchett Cooper (Lance); four grandchildren, Khloe, Layken, Mary and Kylar Thompson; four nieces and nine nephews.
Kim was born October 25, 1969 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was a member of Big Hill Baptist Church and owner of Little Waves Academy Daycare. Kim leaves behind a legacy to her family, friends and her daycare babies as their loving, nurturing Gigi.
Kim devoted 27 years of marriage to the love of her life, Randall Thompson. Kim and Randall had two beautiful children, Torey and Kelsey. She was blessed with four grand-babies that meant the world to her and Randall.

This defines Kim, her character, her devotion and her love to all. This is how she will be remembered. Kim loved passionately those around her, and with this, Kim was loved passionately by so many others.
Honorary pallbearers are Little Wave Academy employees, children and parents, staff of DCH Northport ICU and MICU 3rd Floor.
