A Celebration of Life will be held for Lena Ashley Bass Lovelady Elrod at 6:00 pm Friday, July 24, 2026 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel in Reform. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. Lena was born on September 7, 1983 and went to be with God on July 12, 2026 along with her husband and best friend, Justin Elrod.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Justin William Elrod; her Paw Paw and Maw Maw, W. H. Bass and Betty Bass of Reform, Alabama; her father, Johnny Stephens of Demopolis, Alabama; her stepfather, Ernie McDaniel of Gordo; uncles, Doug Bass (Debbie) of Pisgah, Alabama, Richard Bass of Reform, and her aunt, Pam Kirby of Reform.

Lena is survived by her daughter, Annabelle Grace Lovelady of Gordo; her stepchildren, Justina Mitchell (Cody) and Jagur Elrod; her mother, Rene Bass McDaniel of Gordo and her brothers, Michael Kennedy (Brandie), Adam Bass (Samantha), Cody Stephens (Whittni), Johnathon Stephens and Dustin Stephens. Lena is also survived and loved by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She also leaves behind the father of her child, Brandon Lovelady and his mother, Theresa Bonner.

Lena loved life and lived it to the fullest everyday. Annabelle requests to honor her Momma's

wishes and celebrate her life, if you attend her services please wear bright spring colors or your

Alabama gear. No black please.

If you send flowers, her favorites were yellow sunflowers, daisies or roses.
