REFORM | Luvenia Ferguson, age 70, of Reform, died March 11, 2014, at Northport Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Kennedy and Rev. Terry Knopp officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be Friday, March 14, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Willie Marvin Ferguson; daughters, Sherry Ellis (Jim), Tracie Vining (William), and Melinda Woolbright (Bobby); son, Gary Kirk (Cindy); sister, Martha Marler (James); brothers, Jerry Skelton (Geraldine), John Skelton, Jr., and Roy Skelton; and six grandchildren, John Kirk, Stephen Kirk, Odin Vining, Bella Vining, Levi Vining, and Kaleigh Woolbright. Mrs. Ferguson was born February 16, 1944, in Pickens County, Alabama to the late John H. Skelton, Sr. and Lena Phillips Skelton. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, a homemaker, and a life-long resident of Pickens County. Pallbearers will be Ricky Price, Patrick Wilder, Ryan Black, Josh Knopp, Jason Taylor, Kenny Wayne Kyles, and Keith Ferguson.
