GORDO - Leon Hubert McCool, age 72, of Gordo, Ala., passed away August 22, 2018 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Tim McCool officiating. Burial will follow in Backbone Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas McCool and Zade Bell Tyner McCool; two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie P. McCool; daughter, Tina Lynn McCool; sisters, Frances Willingham and Marilyn Johnson; and brother, Jimmy McCool.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Elrod Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Shane Pate, Heath Hudson, Hunter Hudson and Jeff Belcher.Leo
