REFORM | Lester Hugh Guy, age 72, of Reform, died March 11, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 6 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Smith and Rev. Trey Reece officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ellen Potts. Survivors include his daughters, Denise Brents (Bobby) of Reform, Ala. and Sandy Lambert of Reform, Ala.; ex-wife and life long love and best friend, Ruby; sister, Margie Stokes of Reform, Ala.; three grandchildren, Mitch Britt, Christopher Brents and Matthew Britt; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Tegan and Tyce Britt; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mr. Guy was born February 28, 1942 in Reform, Alabama to the late Hugh William Guy and Eva Leona Hester Guy. He was a member of Pickensville Baptist Church and a self employed truck driver. Lester was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard Reserve and a life long resident of Pickens County. Honorary pallbearers are staff of DaVita Dialysis and all of the doctors that cared for him.
