Letsie Ann Carroll, age 81, of Reform, AL passed away August 11, 2022 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Hershel Owen and Bro. Trey Reese officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Ganus Carroll; her parents; sister, Jane Doughty and brothers-in-law, James Dewey Doughty and Gene Hughes. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Hall (Todd); two sons, Terry Carroll (Margie) and Tim Carroll (Kim); brother, Bobby Connell (Jeanette); sister, Judy Hughes; nine grandchildren, Joseph Dodson (Lindsey), Tori Norwood (Will), Magen Robertson (Josh), Taylor Marine (Caleb), Mallory Ofczarzak (Adam), Tristan Hall, Bryant, Lesley, and Cason Carroll and eight great-grandchildren, Isabelle Wright, Rhett Lee Robertson,  Lainee Jo Robertson, William Norwood, Kathryn Dodson, Jensen Ofczarzak, John Sawyer Marine, Jack Marine and Ana Reese Ofczarzak, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Letsie was born October 22, 1940 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Mittie Thomas Connell and Lula Mae Wilburn Connell. She graduated from Gordo High School and then attended cosmetology school, then shortly after went to work at Edith's Beauty Shop. Letsie was a homemaker for the majority of her life and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She always loved visiting with family and friends. Letsie married Ganus Carroll in 1960 and she was a member of Gordo First United Methodist Church
Her Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
Honorary Pallbearers are the staff, past and present, of Arbor Woods Health & Rehab, nurses and staff at DCH Floor 5 SE, Dr. Chatha, Dr. Brooks, Dr. Butler, Channing Bruce and special friends, Pat Richardson, Barbara Ann Bailey and Octavia Howell.
