PICKENSVILLE – Lettie Faye Jones Simpson, age 75, of Pickensville, Ala., died February 1, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center Inpatient Hospice Unit in Tupelo. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sarah Jones; and brother, Thomas ""Buck"" Jones.
Survivors include her sister, Patricia Jones of Rockford, Ill.; brother, William Jones of Okolona, Miss.; niece Linda Rosas (Manuel) of Houston, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Pickensville Festival Account (Fireworks Show), 16831 Hwy. 14, Pickensville, AL 35447 or to a favorite charity.
Faye was born October 23, 1942 to the late Oscar Jones and Vera Keeton Jones. She spent her working career in law enforcement, most recently as the Chief of Police of Pickensville, Alabama.
