He was a graduate of Liberty High School and retired employee of Gulf States in Starkville, MS. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, whether he was hunting, planting green fields for the deer, fishing, camping, waterskiing, or cooking BBQ on the pit. He loved sharing his passions with his grandchildren teaching them to hunt, drive a tractor, fish and how to cook on that BBQ pit. Lewis loved his family, friends and his church. He was a great friend to many, a loving husband, father and grandfather.
A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Hospice of West Alabama for providing exceptional care and support for our family and also to Dr. Jay Parker and Dr. Arturo Otero for his care over all the years.
