Lewis H. Grace, age 69, of Carrollton, AL passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Ashcraft Corner Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home. The family requests everyone to please wear masks for the service.
Lewis is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, LaFayette, James and John Grace and sisters Hazel Osborne and Maxine Rye.
Survivors include his wife of 45 yrs, Carolyn Grace; his daughters, Tanya Wilkins (Josh), Dana O'Bryant (Allen) and Robyn Wilson (Daniel); grandchildren; Jessa Beams, Ross Beams, Nicholas O'Bryant, Dylan Wilkins, Seth Wilkins, Pailyn and Jeffrey Merchant. Surviving brothers, Cliff Grace (Ann), Richard Grace (Hope), Jerry Grace (late wife Pat); his sister, Bobbie Slaughter and a host of nieces and nephew.
Mr. Grace was born August 23, 1951 in Vienna, Alabama to the late Henry and Eunice Perrigin Grace. He was a retired employee of Weyerhaeuser and the City of Tuscaloosa, a member of McBee Baptist Church and a life-long residence of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Honnoll, Mason Honnoll, Billy Latham, James Grace, Dustin Lancaster and Tim Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Ashcraft Corner Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4175 Co. Road 59, Kennedy, AL 35574.
