Linda Duckworth Cobb, age 72, of Gordo, AL passed away March 18, 2021 at Crowne Health Care of Montgomery. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Hall officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Cobb and her parents.
Survivors include her sister, Martha Noell of Montgomery, AL; brother, Eddie Duckworth and wife, Liz of Columbia, TN; brother-in-law, Benny Cobb; sisters-in-law, Glenda Rhee Usher and Sylvia Cobb and a number of nieces and nephews.
Linda was born June 6, 1948 in Fayette, Alabama to the late Dee Duckworth and Mary Kate Mitchell Duckworth. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Joey Griffin, Mark McLaughlin, Bryan McLaughlin, Mitch Sanders, Cory Sanders, Perry Herring, Benny
Cobb and Jordan Carns.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Hubbertville High School Class of 1966.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to New Salem Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 1378, Reform, AL 35481.
